power supply advice needed

so i decided on:

cpu: i5-3450 ivy
mb: gigabyte h77-d3h
ram: 8 gb corsair @1600
video : gt430 1gb ( temporary)
hdd : WD 500GB SATA-III 7200rpm 16MB Caviar Blue KX
dvd LG GH22NS70, SATA, Bulk,

all i need is a power supply that will run ok with the system. Any advice is welcomed.

Just seen you're using the GT 430 for temporary purposes, what are you going to/planning to upgrade to? If it's a big card, then a more beefier PUS will be needed, in which case I'd recommend a CX 600 or TX 650 depending on the graphics card you may get.
 
Nope they look like pretty poor power supplies from a company nobody's ever heard of. Stick to the main brands - Corsair, XFX, Seasonic, Antec and OCZ. Don't buy a cheap PSU. What is a cheap PSU now may very well end up being an expensive one in the future when it dies and likely takes your whole system out with it. :/
 
Corsair CX 500 it is then, just to be sure. Thanks a lot for the info. It can be very confusing to find a good product, so many names, models, false reviews.
 
Yeah there's a lot of misleading information out there. You can't really go wrong with a Corsair unit. :D
