Power Supply and ATX case advice?

hi

here is my system configuration.

MagicPro H61M-U3 LGA1155 Mainboard
Intel I5 2400 3.1G 6M/LGA1155 CPU
Goldenmars 4GB DDR3 1333 Ram
Seagate 500GB SATA3 7200rpm HDD
2TheMax Maxtron 500BV 500W PS

No display card

My question is

1. My PC often powers off itself suddenly, especially when i run some more programs. Is it a problem of power supply?
2. Please advise on a good PSU brand / model / watts . Thanks

It could be PSU.
Or have you check if your heatsink install properly? There is a chance CPU overheat and shut itself down.

If you want new PSU. You could have a look at Seasonic S12II 380W, Antec EA380, Corsair CX430
