Power Supply for Monitor

HI, Pals,
I just bought a PC and it has two Power Sockets at the back, One for the CPU and the other for the Monitor. However, my previous PC has only one power socket as the Monitor has a direct power connection to the plug.

As such, I could not connect the monitor power to the new CPU as the soocket is not compatible. Can anyone advice???

So your monitor cant plug into the regular wall outlet? it must be a very old monitor. If you can only hook it up to a power supply, id check www.newegg.com and see if they have any.

if you cant plug the monitor in a normal wall outlet, i think all you need is another cable with is also plugged into to "wall to PSU"

because, usually the monitor and the pc were connecter parralell to eachother.

does it have such a connector?
