in the tech specs it says that it needs a 250-300 watt power supply. what does that mean? and what do i have to change, if anything, about my dell 2400 to fit that?

2048 mb ram
2.6 ghz intel prossesor
firewire/usb pci card
possibly tv tuner soon

first of all,.. what grafic's cars were talking about?

but.. most likely, you have to get a stronger Power supplie for your pc, ( i dont know if compaq uses a alternative Moterboard connector) but if not, finding a new CPU should be easy :)

No.... all Compaqs are really is a mATX case with a crappy mATX mobo and an ATX PSU. I had no problem replacing parts, it's the Dells that you have to worry about since they're so different. Good luck tying to find a better PSU. Although I was able to run the specs I have right now on the stock 250w PSU, can't say if it was stable or not.....

Edit: I didn't, however have my card overclocked and I don't think it was capable with a 250W.
