hello i am planning on upgrading my mobo to an asrock a780gxe. I amplanning on upgrading video card as well with geforce 9500gt. I am only running a 300w supply now and I am sure it is time for a 500w at least. I am having a difficult time finding a good psu. It seems most have a 20% failure rate within a year. It is kinda scaring to think that if I get a new board etc.. that the power supply could fry it immediately. I have looked at corsair which is high priced but seems to have the same 20% failure. Anyone have any good thoughts on this.

my computer after upgrade:
Athlon X2 5000 Black 2.6g -3.2g ovclock
Western Digital 500g 32cache sata 3g
Asrock a780gxe
4g G.Skill ram 800mhz
geforce 9500gt video card
power supply ????

I am not a gamer but i am planning on using my tv as my monitor.

I am planning on upgrading to a quad core later on with 1066 memory.

Someone with more experience tell is this a good setup because I think so.

thanks jason

Just my advice , but I would´nt go for the 9500gt, Have a look at the ati 4670,
How big is your TV?

That´s not a bad looking board , good Chipsets NB 780G + SB 700.
