Power supply turns off after turning on...

I need serious help. I tried turning on my new build to see if everything is alright, but after plugging the PSU in and turning the PSU on, the PSU fan and case fan light up then immediately turn off. I tried two more times, but the same thing keeps happening. I'm sure I plugged everything in right, so I don't know what's going on.

The PSU is a Rosewill RP600V2-S-SL, 600 wats. The only thing I did to the PSU was install it upside-down, because my case has the PSU on the bottom instead of the top and I wanted the fans to glow all over. I also used zip-ties to help manage the cables a bit, and I've used practically all the cables. The case is a Raidmax Eclipse.

Check for shorts. Did you install the brass standoffs under the motherboard?

Shorts? Yea I screwed in the standoffs. Right now I'm rearranging the wires and seeing if there was anything that I did wrong. The only thing that I can find thats strange is that the main mobo power connector keeps slipping out. But I don't think that's what caused the psu to do that?

Make sure you hear a click when connecting the 20/24 pin cable to motherboard. Vibration will wiggle it loose if its not secured properly.

I can't hear the 20-pin click in, but the 4 pin does. Do I have to push in so hard? I don't want to break my board.

I would say not "hard" but a firm push should get it in. Some are tighter than others. Sort of like women.

Thanks for the help, it's working now! It looks sooo awesome... I pushed it in right and removed the extra standoffs. Now I need to figure out how to get the front temperature gauge to work...

Trio, i really hope you are not using any high end equipment with that PSU as it is a complete POS. Sorry to burst your bubble but it is a rubbish unit and has a very weak 12V rail and efficiency.

Well, I'm using a Biostar TF720, AMD Athlon 64x2 duo-core (3.0GHz), two sticks of G.Skill (2x2gb), 500gb Wester Digital Caviar, and a Samsung DVD burner. No graphics card, yet.
