Power supply...

Would a 600w PSU be adequate for a system consisting of: i5 3570k, 1TB Seagate B. HDD, EVGA 660Ti 2GB, 8GB Corsair RAM, Asus P8Z77-V PRO Motherboard, LG GH24NS90.AUAA50B 24x SATA Optical drive and NZXT Phantom full size case.

Thank you all!

We can not tell you without knowing what psu you are planning on using. A 600 watt raidmax or power cool will not power that. A 550 watt corsair, ocz, PC power and cooking, antec, seasonic or the like will probably power it. All about brands, not wattage.

Dont know where your getting it from. But right now for the little difference in price I would go with the Seasonic S12II 620.

Specifically the: Corsair CMPSU-600CXV2UK Builder Series 600W Power Supply

I have this PSU powering my system in sig,Very nice PSU for the price. :) :good:

CX 600 PSU works for me quite well and never had isues. Friend has one as well and works for him too.

while I don't generally like corsair products (minus the cases), their PSUs are pretty good. But there are better units out there.

I would put Corsair PSU's in the top 3, for sure. Speaking of, all Corsair products are top notch, Ram, HSF, Cases, SSD's, and PSU's.

I said I don't like them, not that there was anything wrong with them. I don't like bacon either, don't mean its bad meat.

The way you put it, would stray unknowledgeable people away from a good quality company for no reason, except for the fact your biased.
