Power supply

My mother board has a 24 Pin power. my power supply has a 20 pin only. it is an Antec 350Watt. About a year old. In the manual that came with the Mobo says I can use a 20 pin power supply. I was just wondering if anybody knew if this will dmaage my mobo in the long run.

as far as im aware the two types are compatable. im sure that the extra 12volt supply that is a feature of all new psu's makes up the 4 missing pins. either check your motherboard manual or wait for more replies before connecting up.
