Power Supply

Ok thanks. I remember someone telling me that brand name computer usually have their own power supplies connected to a special plug on the motherboard so i just wanted to make sure. Anyone else?
I can't find the exact model now but mine have athlon 64 3500+, 1gb ram, integrated video and sound and I'm pretty sure thats the power supply thats in my comp its the same model number.

It's really only Dell that custom makes their power supplies and connections. You should be fine upgrading.
 
That power supply should be more than sufficient :). I see no problem with changing to that.
 
Its cause im getting a new video card, sound card and adding a dvd drive. Well thanks i guess ill take the chance and order that PSU.
