So while I was plugging in my Macbook Pro in the library in an outlet, i noticed that the outlet was a little tight. While the plug was halfway in, I pulled it out and I noticed that it charged my laptop for maybe a second. I then plugged it back all the way in.
My question is, is that considered a power surge? Can it do damage to your computer or laptop for plugging it in for a second and taking it out? Also, would the AC adapter have protected it anyway?
