Power switch help

Hello computer forum, I have recently build a computer and am having trouble hooking up all the little wires to the mobo, and when I say little wires. i mean the ones that control the power switch and all of that. how do I know were to plug them in. there are tons of places they fit but I just dont know were.

I randomly plugged them in a few times and I got it to power on. but there was no visual on the screen. i need help.

In the motherboard manual, will show where to plug each. NO DISPLAY- they would be a different isssue to the small connectors.
 
google your motherboard, sometimes on the mobo it will say what t he pins are, like HDD, which means the HDD led, or PWR, the power led. ect
 
If its a gigabyte, near the centre of the board usually in white writing it will state
I have a gigabyte board and it states on mine.
 
Nope. On the top. Best thing to to gigabyte site and use the product selector, put in the processor and then go through them by spec and maybe by appearance. But it shoudl state.
