I have a old Powerbook Wallstreet sitting in my bookshelf collecting dust. It is running Mac OS 9. It has a 250 MHZ processor and 128 MB RAM. The problem is the main and CMOS battery is dead. How much should I sell it for?
The CMOS battery isn't hard to replace, I can imagine it being easier on a laptop. Mine is located just in the underside memory panel. That will help your resale value, IMHO.
Sadly, It takes a different type of CMOS battery which costs $20.00. I have been looking on ebay and craigslist and they go for about $75-100 with my specs. I got it for $100 about 2 years ago so I should break even.

I wish it could pull OS X. I have tried 10.1 and 10.2 in the past and it works really weird. 10.3 works good, but I have to use a 3rd party software called xpostfacto. I would probably keep it at 9. I know you can do some major upgrades to it. I was looking on ebay and there was someone selling a wallstreet with 512 MB RAM and a 20 GB hard drive.
