Powercolor Or Sapphire?

I would take the Sapphire card. The extra memory is pointless because you won't be doing anything graphically intensive at high resolutions, and it is only at high resolutions that you will need the extra memory, so you are better off going with the more reputable brand of the two, which is Sapphire.

they will both perform the same, both draw the same power and, for all intents and purposes, be the same
 
well the gddr5 is better than the gddr3, so the sapphire should have a small performance boost, but what are you planning to do with this card, it won't be getting good settings on newer games at all, might bottom them out and be able to play them

They both have gddr5 memory.
 
To me it would be a choice between PCB colours. Red is ungodly ugly, so I'd take the blue. I prefer black though :)

You haven't stated your resolution though. I agree with Aastii that at anything under 1920x1080 you won't need 1GB
 
well either one you wont really be getting any good performace on any games, my friend has the saphire and cant even play alot of games on lowest resolution and settings
