powered but no power...

hi all,

firstly am kinda new in this forum and wiv all av seen, i believe i have alot to learn. now, i know av bein in and out of many forums but this time am here to stay. looking forward to a very wondeful time wiv u guys... and girls!

for starters, i got his pc that am tryin to revive from coma. u c, even though its connected to a power source and i switch it on, it doesnt come up immediately. after a while, it comes on and if i unplug it completely from a power source and connect it back, its the same thing.

I was suggesting its the power pack of the system but the could be an issue of the motherboard.....

wait a sec... t delay's on powering up? does it have such a failsafe power pack, that in case of a power failure you still have time to save your files?

powered but no power part 2...

This is not the case. Its more of getting the system started and running. Once its plugged to a power source, the cpu fan doesnt pick up... the system doesnt showany sign of booting goin on for like the first 10 minutes. Then you decide to try it again and kazammm... it working. its a re-occurin prob... how do i tackle dis issue... can anyone please advice!!!

what are your system specs?



old radios used to have to "warm up" first, but i doubt if this computer is that old.
