Yes thats right im going to be purchasing a ATI Radeon 9800XT. Heres the problem It requires you to plug it in to the systems power and it need 300 WATTS. I checked my Power supply and it says its maximum power is 350 Watts. I'm Very unsure about whether the card would work i really need some advice.

COMP STATS:
3.06 GHZ Processor
512 MB PC3200 RAM
fire wire pci card
internet pci card
2 12 volt fans
80GB Hard Drive
DVD+CD writer/player
is there enough power to run the graphics card successfully? Im sick of my 32MB via unichrome graphics built on board. Any answers are greatly accepted! Thanks -MPFX

Do you know what PSU you have. Watts wise, you have enough. But its not solely that which determines the stability of the computer. You need a PSU with a strong +12v rail. Although tbh, you should be fine with a generic PSU.

Crack open the case and read the sticky you'll find on the side of the PSU. :)

(Amperage on the +12V rail in particular as elmarcorulz mentioned)
