WIndows 10 Powerline adapters

I have a pair of very old TP Link TL-PA4010. I use it to enable my smartTV for streaming.
I recently changed the router and the adapter doesn't work. I thought I had to re-pairing them which I did. But after the pairing, the wired speed was on 1.8 Mbps while my WiFi speed was 60 Mbps. There is something wrong with the adapter.
Would there be something I didn't do right?
Or they are just too old and became useless?
Suggestion on what adapter I should get, if I have to replace them?

They're hit or miss. I had poor luck and terrible network performance when I used them.

I would look into another solution like running ethernet to the location through the wall instead.

Can you just use wifi from the TV?

I have a pair of the 1200AV2 style, although across the house and jumping a breaker it only pumps out about 100 mbit.

Kind of surprised they exhibited issues after replacing other equipment, should be unrelated.

I am running it on WiFi now. I'll see if Netflix and Amazon Video would behave.
