Powerline Adpapter Help.

Hi there,

I'm about to have my internet upgraded and it will (supposedly) give out 70mbps.

My only problem is that my house has a lot of thick stone walls so I don't get a good signal in my room. I cam across this solution while looking for an adapter that would be strong enough.

My only question is should I go for the 200mbps version (which I can get for £25) or the 500mbps version (which I can get for £50)? I assume they will be the exact same since my connection will max out at 70mbps anyway but just want to ask here in case I'm wrong as I want to game and stream a fair bit so I want the best connection I can get.

Thanks folks!

Do you ever copy files between computers or other peripherals (such as a NAS) on your network? You want to have as much speed as possible regardless of how fast your internet is because it governs how fast you can transfer data over your network.

The AC pass option just provides an outlet on the front of the device so you don't have to give up an outlet when you plug in the device.

Thanks again guys!

Yeah I have no shortage of sockets in my house so I don't think I'd need the pass through.

I don't really pass any data from computer to computer over the LAN. So I think in that case the 150mbps is good enough and I won't bother paying more since I don't think it would affect myself too much.

Thank you both so much for your help!
