Powertime!

Like most people I think do, I keep my computer on constantly. I think the one i'm on right now hasnt been shut off and kept off for about a year or soemthing. Is this a bad thing to do? It worked so far(knock on wood) I just wanted to know how long one can keep thier comp on for.

so uve never installed anything on ur comp and had to reboot? and thats not good to leave it on to do nuttin cuz u might burn some parts out but it just all depends on teh kinda of parts u have but its usualy never good to leave it on ESCPECIALLY FOR A YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

You're assuming that major stuff has been installed since the last reboot was required.

Why would it burn out now? Especiallt without any overclocking or whatnot...
