ppp0.6 as Subnet Mask

I'm configuring a Router and there is an entry for the Subnet Mask as 'ppp0.6' and Default Gateway Wan Interface: pppoe_eth0.6/ppp.0.6

What does that mean please?

PPPoE (or any point to point for that matter) uses a 255.255.255.255 mask, so the router looks like it's just telling you the interface your traffic goes out on.
