It's a waste of money IMO. It is better performance wise then budget DDR2 800 for instance, however virtually anyone can overclock their RAM to 1066 speeds and save themselves lots of money, which is why I say it's a waste.
Not to mention a lot of older boards won't work with it, and many motherboards (even the newer ones) will still run it as DDR2 800 until it is manually changed in the BIOS.
