I just recently discovered these and I really like them. Check them out.

Tabs Mix Plus (to really take control of your tabs) (To see the User Guide click here)

Colorful Tabs (makes it easier on your eyes - however, it won't totally work with certain skins like the Vista Aero skin or maybe it is because of known issues between Colorful Tabs and Tabs Mix Plus - but they are working on it.)

Take a look at the User Guide and see if it helps. It basically gives you more features and flexibility while using tabs in Firefox.

I personally think the Download Statusbar is mandatory. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/26

The Print/Print Preview button is also a real time saver for me. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/1778

I agree. I also have the download statusbar and it is great.
And thanks for the print preview button. I had been looking for one.
