Turbo10 Active Member Jun 18, 2009 #2 Not normally no, the best solution is to reinstall Vista as if somehow the motherboard worked without reinstalling Vista then it would be very buggy. I strongly recommend backing up the things that you need and reinstalling Vista

(Which I really don't want to do) Click to expand... If it didn't work, you could try inserting a Retail Copy of Vista and selecting "Repair", but you'd obviously need a retail copy for that. An OEM disk wouldn't work with a new board. They're hardware specific.
