Why would you want to do that?
So you dont have to worry about CDs. So it xfers faster

someone? Please

3rd Party partitioning tools allow you to hide the partition. Paragon Partition Manager and Partition Magic should be able to do the trick

loss of space..thats what i think. i fyou do that for every imp cd.

To be honest space isn't really an issue these days, my guess is that 90% of the users of this forum have at least 200gig.

I don't, but I guess my laptop can't be can't counted :P. I'm building a PC and I'm hoping to put in one 300Gb HD and one 200Gb HD (it is possible, right?)

well i think 40 gb is enough form me and i still have never had problems with it although i install many heavy progs.

yes I already have partition magic, and I know how to make partitions, but I dont know how to make it a partition from where you can install windows again. Should i just copy all the files that are on the cd or make an iso or something?

so how are you going to run that setup in dos if the files are on one of the partition and you dont have an os yet?
