Prevent Unauthorized Access

I have a workstation, at work, and I was wondering if there was a way to prevent unauthorized access?

So, if I log into MY PC and I lock it down for the night, is there a way where ONLY my ID can log back into the PC?

In other words, is there a way to prevent everyone, other than myself, from logging back into MY PC?

At times, when I return to work the next day, I noticed that someone else uses their login information and logs me off of my computer...Please assist, thanks for your help!

If you lock it at night than Depending on how it's set up only an Administrator should be able unlock it. I suggest you talk to your company's Technology Manager or the Network Manager. Because once "Users" start trying and taking security into their own hands it can cause a lot of problems.

Well, right now, any regular "user" is able to sign onto a computer even if it is locked-down. In the users and groups for the computer, I only listed myself as the Administrator...

So I was just curious if there was any type of registry settings or what not that I could change to prevent normal users from unlocking my computer by logging in with their username/password. Thanks for the input.

windows key + L ?

but they can always just turn off the computer and then relogin lolz

Yes, windows key + L is the short-cut to lockdown a computer, lol. It is true that they could always turn off the computer and then boot it back up. Most users will probably not even do that, after they failed to login, they will probably just try to login on another computer.
