Looking for others opinions besides my own for individual prices for these used parts I have.

Gigabyte GA-790FXTA-UD5 motherboard
AMD Phenom II X6 1055T
4GB (4x1GB) G.Skill Ripjaw PC3-10600
Coolermaster Hyper N520 heatsink
MSI HD5770

Only about $5.

I can paypal you $5 :)

Not sure about the others (the RAM is probably worth more keeping if you have any other builds), X6es still easily go for $70-80

Yeah I checked eBay for a baseline of prices. Saw around $80 for the CPU, $50 for the motherboard, $50 for the RAM, $50 for the GPU. Might as well just throw the heatsink in, though it's a nice heatsink.

There's a girl I know looking to play The Sims with it because her laptop can't handle it. I'm thinking $230 for everything?

$230 = £148, I'd say that's probably about right for the whole lot, you might be able to squeeze a tiny bit more out but I think you're probably about right.

If she wanted to do more gaming she could pop in a better graphics card in the future, that cpu could handle much more power. I guess all the ram slots are taken up, which makes me think, could a fast ssd used as a dedicated paging file make up for having a low amount of ram?
I'm sure it wont be as fast as the ram, but I wonder how far would it go for making up for a low amount of ram. I guess one day I will test this for myself.

She can always upgrade. That's just all I have laying around to give her.
