I heard a few people mention that in Q2, the q6600 is supposed to drop in price by quite a margin.
I tried searching the web to find info on this, but i was unsuccessful.
I'd really like to wait a bit if the processor is going to drop into the $600 range, but if there aren't set plans, i'm not going to wait in vain, since my current computer is on it's last leg here.
Anyone know where i could find out more info on this?
Also, do you know if intel's anticipating a drop in price for the qx6700, as well? Or is that likely going to stay around the $1k mark for a while yet?
