Prime 95 issues...

Hey guys

I have managed to Overclock my CPU from 2.13GHz to 2.91GHz without a voltage increase... WOOT!!!

now, the problem comes in when i prime test it.

When i run Small FFT, i get no errors for 2 hours

When i run Large FFTs, i get an error withing 2 minutes...

what could it be?

My voltage is stock, my temps are idling at 37, pushing 37 Maximun, and ambient is 26 degrees...

should i try raise my voltage to stabilise the OC?

I havent had any crashes in games, windows etc.

The only problems I have had are with my 195.62 GTX 295 drivers... but so have many other ppl

Running Large FFT put a lot more stress on your rams. You should check on your rams. (voltage, timing)

kk, what i did, was i turned my RAM down to 900MHz (from 1050) and it seems more stable now.

i can at least get past 2 minutes... I ran it for about half an hour with no probs.

gonna try hit 3.0GHz now

Its not bad to OC without a voltage increase? but mine has nearly OC'ed 1GHz more than stock...
