What does the program (Prime95) do to your system? I have heard that it oc's your cpu?

no, after you OC, you run that program 2 see if your computer is stable at that speed.

Prime is a stability test..........it tests your cpu and ram.
A popular tool in the overclockers arsenal.

It is actually a mathermatical project with stress testing built in.

You will want to run it after. Running it both before and after might not hurt though.

Wouldn't hurt to run it before...to make sure you have a stable rig to start with.
A rig at stock shouldn't have any issues though.

Ya, you could compare before and after your OC, to see your successfullness of the OC .
