I keep seeing inkjet printable cd"s and dvd's. Do I need a special printer, special software or what to be able to print onto a disk? Sometimes when I put a label on the disk it does not work as well as without it. And my burners are not lightscribe.
Thanks

You do need a printer that is designed to print disks. Any shop will have a few models that are disk-printing capable. The way it usually works is there's a special tray, which you put the disk on, then the tray feeds into the printer and prints.

The software to print them usually comes bundled with the printer itself.

Usually these are going to be just Epson model printers in the US. Other countries will probably have some Canon models as well, HP and Lexmark haven't gotten into that to my knowledge.
