Printer Head Cleaning

I have the HL2270DW brother laser printer and wondered if there was a way to do the printer head cleaning routine like you do on and inkjet printer. I go to printer preferences and cant seem to find how to do it. Thanks!!!!
 
Laserjet printers don't have print heads, so there's no need to do a head cleaning. Are you having issues with print jobs?
 
Okay explains it thank you! When I print out bills it's fine and i know they aren't really for pictures but when i do print out a picture, there are lines in it and it is a black toner only. Does it mean that I need to replace it?
 
I have the same printer, it's either getting low on toner or possible drum unit needs to be replaced. Look in the manual to determine how much toner is left. There is a report that prints out that gives you this information.
 
Thanks all for the help as this is the first laser printer I have ever owned. I'm voting for low ink and just waiting for it to tell me to get a new toner!
 
If you tap the go button two or three times it should print out a status report that will tell you what is running low.
