I have a Lexmark X2470, which is a printer, scanner, and copier, all in one.
After I installed a new ink cartridge, it won't work. There's a light in the bottom, right-hand corner of the printer that signifies that the printer is on, but now, it's blinking. When I attempt to print a page (or even scan something, for that matter), I just get a message that says "scanner unit is open," with a picture showing the printer with the scanner unit lifted up, as if I were trying to get to the ink cartridge!
The scanner unit is closed! This is ridiculous! I've tried opening it and closing it again, but it's not taking!
What am I doing wrong? How do I get this damned thing to work, again?
