Privacy settings for SMS texts on a Blackberry?

I work and live in a very public setting, and sometimes I leave my phone on a sidetable while I get up to do something, or on a table, etc.
It's easy for anyone to go through my phone and look at my texts or pictures.
Is there any way to put a header on SMS texts in the inbox, or a subject line (or something along those lines), so that you're not shown a preview of a text?
I've been looking around and can't seem to find anything.
I have a Blackberry 8530, if that makes a difference.
 
Set a lock code for your phone. That way if you want to use your phone you have to enter the code to do anything with it.
