I have a gateway, which doesnt say what model, that has win millenium on it.. the screen will come up gateway then go to the win millenium screen then go to the boot normal, or safemode screen... no matter what i pick the screen goes blank and has the blinking _ symbol in the top lefthand screen and will not do anything else... ive tried changing the ram, video card, and tried a new harddrive... tried the restore disk, locked up in the middle of it... tried windows 2000... got a little bit through it and locked up... reflashed the bios, but still didnt help... got new memory, still didnt help... i have no clue what is going on with this thing.. i think the model number is gateway select 1000cs
