Problem Building

Hey i got a problem with the computer i was trying to build.
It is:
Raidmax Case ATX
CPU FAN OCZ GLADIATOR3 LED FAN
DDRAM 512 MB Rosewill PC3200
AMD XP 3000+
Radeon 9600XT
80 GB Maxtor ATA
Asus A7V8X-X

When i turn on the computer, it automatically goes to bios and prompts me for the cpu speed. If i set it to the max (2100 mhz), it shuts off after around 5 seconds of leaving bios. If i set it to the least (1050), when i try to install windows, it always shuts off after all the windows files have been copied, and the set up is about to start. Anyone know what this problem is?

Sounds like the memory clock speed is slaved to the FSB speed somehow (make sure you're not running Turbo mode or anything with the memory) and you're actually inadvertantly overclocking the RAM. Also, whats the CPU voltage?

Yes but the native speed is 2.1GHz.....
