Hello, recently started re-playing warcraft III, and wanted to play my friends over the tinternet. But I have a real problem hosting and so do all my friends, cos when we make a game no one can connect. Anyone got any ideas?

I went into windows firewall and made sure port 6112 was open, disabled all anti virus and anti spyware software even turned windows firewall off.

I have got a BT Home Hub router which I don't know how to get to the settings. Anhyone know how to do that or got any other suggestions for hosting.

Thanks Jon

Did you bought a dedicated server or did you just hosted on your computer?

You go to the address listed as your gateway address... To make it simple, if your address is 192.168.2.3 or.2 you need to try tyoing this into Internet explorer //192.168.2.1

The home address digits can be different, buit it will be similiar to that of your computers LOCAL address (Ie start with 192 or 168)

Log in and forward the needed ports to your PC.

Well you have to open a port to let people access your server... I had the same problem when I wanted to host Mohaa Games...

Opening a port, I never understood how to do it so good luck :\
