Problem in my favourites

When I go to my favourites and try and select a website that I have saved, the computer just locks up and I have to click control alt delete to get back to the desktop. What is happening?
 
wrong section... cpus and overclocking is the section you posted in.

my guess is that you just need a reformat... if not its a virus, or some spyware.
 
You won't need to reformat a drive for any link. You can try resaving the link again to overwwrite the current save. But it sounds more a problem being seen in Internet Explorer where you may have to reinstall that in order to correct the problem. Note IE 7 beta is still under development and can cause problems if installed. Another popular browser with fewer problems is Mozilla's FireFox for Windows available at http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/
