problem in raid installing with windows. floppy disk not detected

i just built a custom pc and when i try to install windows it asks me to install raid software via floppy. when i put the disk in my floppy drive (which is installed well as far as i can see) nothing is detected.
ive been googling help with floppy drives not being detected but im not finding anything. same with this forum's search engine.
 
im still installing windows. at one point it asks me to use my floppy drive. the drive is connected to the mobo fine but yet when i tell it to retrieve data from the drive nothing happens.
