Problem opening video...

ok i downloaded a video but its just says "File" and when i try to play with media player it dont work... when i open it says select program from a list...

do u know its exetension? or is that the extension?

thats the extension it just says "File"

are you sure its a movie? what is the size of it?

it can just be a system file.

yes its supposed to be a video clip i downloaded...

well, have you tried opening it with winrar? some people compress them like that. or rename it to xxxx.rar

is it suppose to extract itself when you extract the other? or are they done seperately?

in any case, it can just be a corrupted file. or just an image of that orignal rar file. did you have any problem unrar-ing the first one?

oh no the rar file was a backup of the file i made, but the file on the right os the one im talkin about that i downloaded

does the site where you got it from have a compression or unzipping utility that u need? usually, if its compressed, winrar is able to open it. have you tried it with winrar?

when that thing pops up that tells u to select a progra, choose winrar.
