So this problem has been off and on these past few days. Some days it won't happen at all, some days it happens multiple times.
Basically, my laptop stops responding for a second, then a moment later I get a rapid and annoying series of computer beeps (speakers and sound on of course). My laptop becomes useless and any attempt at a mouseclick or keystroke doesn't respond. I was fortunate enough to have my computer open a fresh (13 actually) window of Firefox and since Google is my homepage, I got to witness the origin of the beeps and random window openings. It turns out that everytime I try to move the cursor, it sends keystoke signals. I'm guessing the laptop quickly gets overloaded with keystrokes which then causes the beeping. I managed to snag a portion of this on my phone and hopefully I'll be able to upload it here.
Hopefully there's a way to fix this without a clean XP reinstall because over the years, I've lost the disk.
Thanks!
