Problem when playing soccer games, pls help anyone

When I play games like Fifa2004, SWOS or any other soccer game for that matter I can't run diagonally and shoot at the same time.
I got a Fujitsu Siemes keyboard, and I dont know if this is a driver problem or what, and finding new drivers aint easy.

I'm running xp btw.

Would really appreciate any info which could solve this problem...

1. Im assuming (a) those games support diagonal movement (b) you've configured your controls

2. Try another keyboard?

Actually, I've had that problem with an old football game (Actua Soccer). On old machines (and maybe new), the computer won't register more than two keys pressed at once. At least I think that's what's wrong. Seemed like it when it happened to me.
