I also downloaded the new nVidia driver last night. When I reboot my computer it went to loading XP, then I got a blue screen with error message. Something about n4disp or something, I can't remember exactly. So I set it to reboot from most previous safe setup and it was fine. Definitely didnt install that driver again. SO that could be your problem.
