problem with belkin...maybe....

has anyone else had any problems with their wireless router, or at least similar to this........

i have a belkin router and since its been installed, my internet constantly freezes and when i try to download or stream, it stops and wont load. wondering if theres a solution to this problem or if its my belkin router and maybe i need to go with linksys!
 
Run a line speed test. The problem may be your internet connection not the router. Just Google "Line Speed Test" and choose one close to you.
 
i called my internet provider about it, and they said the connection was fine. i guess they pinpoint your router and can tell if you have a good signal or whatever, but ill definately google that line speed test!
 
when i disconnect my wireless router, the internet is fine, no problems downloading or problems with streaming. i called belkin about it and they said it was the router, they sent me a new one and i sent the old one back. still same problem. i think im gonna go with linksys unless anyone knows the problem!
 
If you cannot fix it manually, try contacting your internet service provider. They will advise you on how to fix the problem.
