problem with charging

the socket that the charger plugs into is broken. i think because if i hold the plug just rite it will charge for a second. my question is what is this piece called exactly and where can i get it also how hard is it to replace.
 
Thats the dc power jack, you need to take the mobo out of the computer, desolder the old connector, and purchase a new power jack off an online store, ebay, etc. Some people on ebay sell repair services, dunno if i would trust them though.
