problem with command and conquer:generals

If you already downloaded the patch, double click it. And if it asks for where you installed your game to (the directory), browse or type in where your game is. For example "C:/Program Files/Command and Conquer: Generals". Are there any error messages?
 
its not working

everytime i try to play online it tells me that there is an update available and ive downloaded it two times already. but it still doesnt work. i tryed opening it but it says that i ant open such file(RTP File). is there anything else i can do?
