Hello everyone, I have computer that's about 6-7 months old and everything was doing good until it started freezing not too long ago. I got it reformatted multiple times (both with vista and xp) and the problem kept on persisting, so I went on and concluded that it had to be a hardware problem. The computer seemed pretty hot so I popped it open and set a fan towards it so it would be better cooled off and the computer stopped freezing (it seemed to over-heat after multiple consecutive reboots also, thing that I would do when it froze, making the problem get even worse I imagine). The problem now is that when I try to play games, the graphic card goes nuts! My graph card it a e-GeForce 8800 FTX and my motherboard is ASUS Ai lifestyle P5N32-E SLI. I don't know much about computers (the PC is actually my brothers and I'm trying to get the problem solved for him) but I do know that there is a "special" cooling fan for the graphics card that's connected independently to the power source (I believe) so I'm thinking maybe the problem is somewhere around there..? Anyways, if anyone could give me some tips or has had similar problems, please give a shout! Thanks!
