Problem with current Computer.

I'm planning on getting a new computer soon, but in the meantime, mine is really starting to piss me off.

I will be typing and after so many letters the window I'm typing in will become inactive (It's like I clicked on a different window and the cursor dissapears and I can't type anymore).It is very annoying to constantly have to click back in the typing area to continue.

If that weren't bad enough, every time it does that, it automatically turns the master volume to 0.

So every time I want to type a response or something, I have to constantly be clicking in the typing area and turning the volume up.

Whats wrong? My guess is a virus but I scanedd and nothing.

I have AVG. I used to have spybot search and destroy but HATED it, annoying peice of crap.

Funny thing.... When I open the task manager, if I end all the processes under my account name the problem stops. I'm unable to pinpoint which process it is though since the problem is on and off. So that means it's something that starts with the computer and runs in the background that is causing the problem.

Any suggestions?
 
I would try one process each time and see what causes it. This is probably th e only way. Unless you want to save the trouble and just reformat.
