Problem with Enabling Java

Anytime I want to play a crossword or whatnot on the internet, it tells me I can't and I must enable Java. Well, according to my security settings, Java is enabled. Any suggestions as to why I can do crosswords and stuff like that?
 
I had the same problem with Java content, but it turned out that i didn't have Java installed at all! :eek:

But i went onto: www.java.com and downloaded the latest version from there. Now it all works fine!

I do have IE. I suppose I could just not have it installed since I built the computer and the more I think of it, I don't think I installed java. It was just one of those things that I completely forgot to do.
