Hey everyone. I have a problem that I need immediate help with. I was installing windows 7 onto a hard drive that I have laying around and after installing it along with drivers, I restart and then it doesn't boot, and it says to enter a boot device. Then, I reinstall windows fine and get the same problem. Is it a hard drive problem? Please help...:(
 
I would say intermittent hdd issue with the system not recognizing it like it should. Go into the bios and see if it sees the hard drive.
 
what type of hard drive is it, most manufacturers have their own software programs to try and recover problem or damaged drives, particularly seagate have quite a few.
