Try installing Ubuntu on it. Go to Ubuntu.com/desktop , click "Get Ubuntu Now," and download the 32-or 64-bit ISO image. Burn the ISO to a DVD-R and put it into the Asus 750JX when you boot it. Then you can configure Ubuntu w/ your username and make the PC usable.

is it a new operating system, or will it just be an overlay over my windows 8(witch is crap)

Follow the process here on how to access recovery partition or to make the recovery cd's.

thanks, ill try that!

also thanks for quick answres.

If the machine won't boot into windows then your only 2 options are the f9 recovery option or contact Asus for recovery cd's.

when i try the f9 option it only sais that there is no"stationpartion" (dont know it i if translated right.. "stasjonpartisjon" in norwegian

Then follow the process to create the recovery dvd's. If you can't create them then contact asus for the recovery dvd's.

solved! i got a mail form asus, they said download Backtracker for asus, it worked for me, it saved it on a hdd 12 gb, you could use a usb but i only had an 500gb hdd pluged it in, it transferred the important files, then it told me to pull out the usb then reboot the pc.

thanks for help anywas!
