problem with freespire:linux install disk, error 25 disk error

ok i try to install, (i know nothing about partitions, except that the drive im using doesnt have any) it starts going, then the screen goes black and says: error 25 cannot read disk.

do you guys know what the poblem could be? could all of this be caussed by a bad mobo?
 
so the actual disk i am using is bad? could it be my dvd drive? i installed it after my windows went bad, so i have never actually installed the driver... maybe thats it, so im gonna try my old cd drive
